Position Summary
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, and business stakeholders to understand operational needs and design scalable Workday solutions.
- Configure and maintain Workday business processes, organizations, validations, notifications, calculated fields, condition rules, and security assignments.
- Lead requirement gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-production support for Workday enhancements and projects.
- Maintain detailed configuration documentation, process flows, change logs, and functional design documents.
- Analyze the downstream impact of configuration changes across integrations, reporting, security, and business processes.
- Establish and maintain Workday reporting standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, performance, and usability.
- Support and optimize self-service functionality for employees and managers.
- Provide techno-functional support across one or more Workday modules including:
- Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Talent & Performance, Recruiting and Learning
- Develop and maintain advanced Workday reports including:
- Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards, Discovery Boards
- Support integration troubleshooting and coordination with internal and external vendors.
- Partner with IT and integration teams to support inbound and outbound integrations including EIBs, APIs, Workday Studio, Extend and third-party vendor feeds.
- Analyze and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies, integration failures, and security-related issues.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Concentration in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, HRIS, or related field, preferred.
- Workday Certification(s) is strongly preferred.
- Workday Studio or Workday Extend certifications is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience required.
- Strong hands-on Workday techno-functional experience required.
- Experience supporting or leading at least one full-cycle Workday implementation.
- Strong understanding of Workday business process framework and security model.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations using: Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, XSLT transformations
- Experience developing complex Workday reports and calculated fields.
- Experience troubleshooting integrations and working with third-party vendors.
- Experience supporting data conversion, validation, and auditing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of Workday architecture, configuration, and reporting.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of integrations, data flow, and enterprise system architecture.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and user experience.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence and automation.
